As part of our commitment to providing professional development to artists, the Naples Art Association host a variety of juried and non-juried exhibitions throughout the year. If you’re looking for ways to get your art in front of a new audience and increase recognition, we invite you to participate in some of the many showcase opportunities we have throughout the year. From our renowned, annual Art in the Park event, to shows, exhibits and community events, there are numerous ways to gain exposure within the Naples community and with visitors to the region.
January 12 – February 24, 2019
This exhibition has a social-issues theme. Immigration affects many areas such as work-force demographics, entitlement programs and finances. Artists have a lot to share on this important topic. Bring one exhibition ready artwork to Gallery 104 on January 3, 2019 between 10 am and 4 pm.
February 15 – March 3, 2019
Naples Art Association is pleased to announce an art competition in partnership with Opera Naples to celebrate opera in the visual arts. Opera Naples will sponsor this visual arts competition with a performing arts theme.
The competition is open to both Naples Art Association adult students and those in Collier County high schools. Cash prizes of $750, $500 and $250 will be awarded in two categories: students of Naples Art Association and Collier County High School students.
March 6 – 30, 2019
The annual small works show features small-sized artwork with strong visual impact. Bring one exhibition ready artwork 60 inches and below to Gallery 104 on February 25, 2019 between 10 am and 4 pm.
May 4 – 29, 2019
Vermilion, candy apple, cardinal, carmine, carnelian, cerise or chestnut. The color red with all its shades is the most dynamic in the human visual palette. Artwork celebrating red and the color’s vital role in man-made and natural environments will be featured in this exhibition. Bring one exhibition ready artwork to Gallery 104 on April 26, 2019 between 10 am and 4 pm.
April 13 – 27, 2019
The Jade Riedel Scholarship Competition and Exhibition is open to Collier County High School juniors and seniors who will be majoring in art at an accredited college or university. The goal of the scholarship program is to encourage aspiring artists to further their artistic development at the college level. Scholarship dollars are sent to the financial aid offices of colleges and universities where scholarship winners are enrolled as declared Art Majors.
In addition to the opportunity to compete for scholarship awards, applicants will have their artwork professionally displayed in the Naples Art Association (NAA) from April 13 to April 27, 2019. The Naples Woman’s Club and The Ringling College of Art and Design are partners in the program. During the 2019 competition, the NAA will award $10,000 in scholarships, the Naples Woman’s Club will award $4,000 in scholarships to individuals pursuing a college major or minor in art and The Ringling College of Art and Design will award one $20,000 scholarship to a student who has applied and been accepted for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Art in the Park is a Naples Art Association event and is a juried show, you must be juried in to participate. Jury process for November, December, February, March, and April: Artists must register for the jury process by 5:00 p.m. the day before the jurying date. The registration fee to jury-in is $15 per entry, which is non-refundable. To jury in for multiple mediums, you must pay to jury for each medium.

Members of the Naples Art Association are eligible for a host of opportunities through the NAA’s affiliation with the Art Council of Southwest Florida. All members of Art Council of Southwest Florida’s member organizations are eligible for benefits including exhibition opportunities. There are 19 available opportunities including Spring Show 2016 and the Coconut Point Co-op Gallery. Other opportunities include workshops, art classes, and special art related trips at reduced rates.
Coconut Point Co-op Gallery Your chance to participate! We invite you to take advantage of the Gallery to display and sell your artwork. The Art Council of Southwest Florida Co-op Art Gallery at Coconut Point Mall will remain open during the summer and fall season. This is another great opportunity for all of the Art Council of Southwest Florida member artists (If you are a member of the Naples Art Association, you’re eligible!) to take advantage of the gallery and the potential for summer sales.
