Dan Jensen: Realism in Action

Dan Jensen is an accomplished painter and active participant in Naples Art’s education program. After nearly a lifetime of painting, he regularly takes classes. His work received acclaim in a number of nationally recognized furniture competitions. Jensen continued his art studies at the University of the Americas Mexico City and the Art Institute of Chicago. At Naples Art he has received numerous awards for his work. Most recently, he was awarded second place in the Telling a Story: Narrative Art exhibition for his painting Lone Ranger Crossing the Alps. Jensen is a member of the Art Club of Chicago where he participates in exhibitions each summer. His work has also been exhibited at the Salmagundi Club in New York.

Crafted by Hand: The Southwest Florida Fine Craft Guild

Founded on the leading edge of a resurgence of interest in the soft-pastel medium, the Southwest Florida Pastel Society was established as a non-profit  organization in January of 2003. Today it represents more than 140 active pastel artists.The society’s goals are to foster professionalism by providing support to pastel artists of all skill levels, offer educational programs for young people and adults, and focus attention on the renaissance of the pastel medium which includes its beauty and permanence.

Camera USA® 2020: National Photography Exhibition and Award

Naples Art started the Camera USA® photography program in 2011. As a nationwide program, it serves as a platform for local photographers to share the spotlight with their peers at the national level. For photographers from other states, Camera USA® provides an opportunity to demonstrate success, exhibit in Southwest Florida and compete for the $5,500 in prizes.

ARTScool 2020 Exhibition

The 2020 ARTScool Exhibition features newly created works in clay, drawing, fiber, mixed media, painting and printmaking by young art students who participated in Naples Art’s 22nd annual summer art program. The ARTScool 2020 exhibition is on view in Gallery 104.

Your Choice 2020

When: August 21- September 24, 2020
Where: Naples Art, 585 Park Street in Naples.

Your Choice is Naples Art’s annual non-juried exhibition. It provides an opportunity for local artists to present their artwork to a large audience with no jury process requirement. The exhibition is called “Your Choice” because artists and viewers make the choices. Artists decide which artwork they will exhibit while viewers attending the reception decide who will receive the awards. There are five awards with a total cash value of $1,000. Each person who attends the reception may cast one vote for a favorite artist. Voting is overseen by the Collier County Supervisor of Elections Office.

Saint Ann Latino Contemporary Art Auction (SALCAA)

When: September 21- October 16, 2020

The artwork in this exhibition is recently created by area youth who participated in Naples Art outreach programs featuring Saint Ann Latino Contemporary Art Auction artists and/or themes. Exhibited in Gallery 104.
