Touchable Art Exhibition

When:  October 4th-17th, 2019
Where:  The Naples Art Association, 585 Park Street in Naples

Art is generally considered to be a visual experience, but our appreciation of art does not need to come purely from sight. Touching is a basic instinct and a way to experience objects, gather information and build awareness. The Touch Me exhibition will feature artwork by sighted, visually impaired and blind artists. Shaking off the traditional gallery-goer behavior, visitors are encouraged to use their sense of touch to explore the exhibition.

Your Choice 2019

When:  August 19th – September 25th, 2019
Where:  The Naples Art Association, 585 Park Street in Naples

Your Choice is the Naples Art Association’s annual non-juried exhibition. It provides an opportunity for local artists to present their artwork to a large audience with no jury process requirement. The exhibition is called “Your Choice” because the artists and spectators make the choices. Artists decide which artwork they will exhibit while gallery viewers attending the reception decide who will receive the awards.

Tiny Art Exhibition

When:  March 6 – 30, 2019
Where:  The Naples Art Association, 585 Park Street in Naples

The annual small works show features small-sized artwork with strong visual impact.

There will be a reception for this exhibition and the Florida Artists Group exhibition on Friday, March 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the NAA.

Florida Artists Group Annual Statewide Exhibition

When:  March 9 – April 6, 2019
Where:  The Naples Art Association, 585 Park Street in Naples

Showcasing the whose work has attained national or state-wide recognition, the purpose of the group is to stimulate attainment of the highest standards of creative art within the State of Florida.

There will be a reception for this exhibition and the Tiny Art exhibition on Friday, March 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the NAA.

Widening Horizons: Artists at Work in Collier County’s Parks Exhibition

When:  Now through May 16, 2019
Where:  North Collier Regional Park in the Exhibit Hall and Community Room, located at 15000 Livingston Road in Naples

This exhibition will feature 28 original artworks by Southwest Florida artists depicting parks and nature preserves in Collier County. The sunny skies and verdant landscapes in Southwest Florida are favorite subjects for plein air painters. For decades artists have come to Southwest Florida to paint its beaches, nature preserves and parks.
