The Naples National is held in scenic Cambier Park and along 8th Street South in downtown Naples, FL. Because of its national ranking and the beautiful weather in southwest Florida during this time of year, the Naples National draws some of the finest artists in the country. Sunshine Artist Magazine has ranked this art show as high as the #9 art show in the United States and has included The Naples National in its top ten national show seven years running. This is a juried art show with artists applying in eighteen categories including painting, jewelry, watercolor, ceramics, metal, sculpture and wood.
The local community counts Naples National among its premiere, must-see events thanks to the high quality of the art, the engaging personalities of the artists and the festive atmosphere. More than 20,000 residents and visitors flock to this outdoor weekend art show to enjoy the art, live performances and our world-class restaurants in downtown Naples. Show attendees take full advantage of the opportunity to meet artists from across the country and to learn about their inspiration and techniques.
This show raises funds for educational art programming for the Naples Art Association. There is a suggested $5 donation at the gate.
Show Artist Awards
The Naples National is The Naples Art Association’s only art show where awards are delivered to artists. Artists win cash awards for Best in Show, Best 2D, Best 3D and 10 Awards of Distinction – 5 in 2D and 5 in 3D. New this year, we want the public to vote and give us their opinion on the People’s Choice award for their favorite booth.
Cash prizes are awarded for all except for the People’s Choice Award. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will automatically be accepted to the 2019 Naples National Art Show, bypassing the jury selection and application processes. In addition, People’s Choice Awards winners will receive a complimentary booth at the 2019 Naples National Art Show from The Naples Art Association.
To vote for the People’s Choice award, stop by The Naples Art Association tent to cast your vote. The votes for People’s Choice will be counted at 2:00pm on Sunday and awarded at the end of the show. For the cash awards, we have selected two local, esteemed artists to be our on-site jurors who will determine our 13 cash award winners. The artist awards will be decided on Saturday, February 24th and announced on Sunday, February 25th.
