We are excited to welcome you back and offer you the opportunity to advance your artistic skills. Additionally, creative expression is part of self-discovery and a healthy lifestyle. We have been working hard to prepare a Health and Safety plan for our class & workshop participants. The campus facility has been thoroughly disinfected both inside and out. Naples Art is committed to complying with local and national safety recommendations as well as instituting measures unique to our campus. For Season 2020, the following new safety features and health practices have been put into place:

Covid-19 Safety Measures

  • To permit social distancing, we are reducing the maximum number of students allowed in each class.
  • Studio spaces have been reconfigured to allow for social distance seating.
  • Naples Art janitorial staff is cleaning bathrooms and disinfecting doors, handles and classroom surfaces throughout the day.
  • Students should wash hands upon entering the classroom and prior to exiting the classroom.
  • Equipment should be wiped down by the student at the end of each class.
  • Frequent and thorough hand washing by faculty, staff, students, and visitors will be encouraged. Hand sanitizer dispensers have also been placed in the lobby and by the elevator.
  • If any staff, faculty, or students are coughing, sneezing or in general not feeling well, please stay at home, and follow the advice of a health professional. Any student or faculty demonstrating health issues will be asked to leave.
  • Masks will be worn by all staff and instructors. Mask wearing is not mandatory for students at this time, but is strongly encouraged.
  • If you become sick or test positive for COVID-19, do not return to the art center under any circumstances and immediately alert your instructor and NA staff so we may contact those individuals who may be affected.

In summary, here are some examples of the precautions we are taking in our classrooms and throughout the building:

  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting routines
  • Reduced headcount to allow for social distancing
  • Mask requirement at all times
  • Antiseptic wipes to clean brushes and other tools
  • Hand sanitizing stations in all spaces and near doors
