Reinvention: Artists from The von Liebig Art Center's Collection

Change is part of life. Throughout our lives we change physically and mentally as others and the world around us also change. The artwork in this exhibition is by living artists represented in The von Liebig Art Center’s Collection. The Collection consists of 168 works of art by artists who have lived in or had a connection to Florida. Most of the artists whose work is on view in this exhibition relocated to Florida from another State.

The von Liebig Art Center Faculty Biennial 2010

During each even numbered year the Naples Art Association highlights the work of its talented faculty instructors. NAA Instructors have a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills in the visual arts and in educating people of all ages and skill levels. Classes and workshops are held at The von Liebig Art Center and at off-site locations. The von Liebig Art Center Faculty Biennial 2010 presents work in ceramics, drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture. A Stitch in Time: Fiber Art in the 21st Century

Fiber is a material that is very familiar to all of us. Our homes are filled with objects made of fiber: curtains, carpets and upholstery. Our days are spent wearing clothes made of various fiber materials and at night we surround ourselves with sheets, blankets and pillowcases. All of which are made from fiber.
