An Adventure In The Arts: The Guild Hall Collection brings together highlights from Guild Hall’s renowned permanent collection, representing one of the nation’s earliest multidisciplinary cultural institutions. Since 1931, Guild Hall has been a center for arts and civic life in East Hampton, New York, blending an art museum, theater, and educational programming under one roof. Guild Hall’s mission continues to embrace the power of the arts to bring communities together and spark engagement, much like our goal at Naples Art Institute.

This exhibition features over 70 works spanning from 1878 to 1994, showcasing influential American artists such as Thomas Moran, Childe Hassam, Jackson Pollock, Willem and Elaine de Kooning, Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Chuck Close. Many of these artists lived and worked in Long Island’s East End, highlighting the tradition of artists in residence since the 1870s. From Impressionism and Abstract Expressionism to the experimental trends of the 1980s and 1990s, this collection explores the evolution of American art through painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, photography, and mixed media.
