An Adventure In The Arts: The Guild Hall Collection, showcases highlights from Guild Hall’s extensive permanent collection, one of the nation's first multidisciplinary cultural centers. Established in 1931, Guild Hall has long served as a vital hub for arts and civic engagement in East Hampton, New York. Combining an art museum, theater, and education programs, the institution continues to champion the belief that participation in the arts strengthens communities.

This spectacular exhibition presents over 80 works, dating from 1878 to 1994, by celebrated figures like Thomas Moran, Childe Hassam, Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Willem and Elaine de Kooning, Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and Chuck Close. Spanning paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, and mixed media, the collection highlights the progression of American art movements, from Impressionism to Abstract Expressionism, and experiments in the 1980s and 1990s by contemporary artists.
