Call For Artists

Calling all artists!

As part of our commitment to providing professional development to artists, the Naples Art Association host a variety of juried and non-juried exhibitions throughout the year.  If you’re looking for ways to get your art in front of a new audience and increase recognition, we invite you to participate in some of the many showcase opportunities we have throughout the year. From our renowned, annual Art in the Park event, to shows, exhibits and community events, there are numerous ways to gain exposure within the Naples community and with visitors to the region.

Feel the Art

Art is generally considered to be a visual experience, but our appreciation of art does not come purely from sight.  Touching is a basic instinct and a way to experience objects, gather information, and build awareness. The Feel the Art exhibition will feature artwork by sighted, visually-impaired, and blind artists.  Shaking off the traditional gallery-goer behavior, visitors will be invited to use their sense of touch to explore the exhibition.

There are five cash awards:  Best of Show $150, First Place $100, Second Place $50, and two honorable mentions of $25.

National Art Encounter

Online entries are now being accepted for National Art Encounter 2018-19, a biennial exhibition open to artists residing in the United States and featuring 9 cash awards with a total value of $3,500. The exhibition will be on view from December 1, 2018 through January 12, 2019 and is open to all media, subject matter and genres of artwork created after January 1, 2014. Entry fee $29. Deadline: October 4, 2018.
